About This Game Age of MythologyThe classic real time strategy game that transports players to a time when heroes did battle with monsters of legend and the gods intervened in the affairs of mortals. Use mythological creatures like Minotaurs and Cyclopes to bolster your armies' strength. Call upon the gods for assistance in flattening enemy towns with meteors or scatter opposing troops with lightning storms. The Extended Edition includes:Age of MythologyAge of Mythology: The TitansGolden Gift Campaign New in the Extended Edition:Improved VisualsTime of Day Improved waterShadowsBump / Specular mapsGlobal LightingAntialiasing & Ambient OcclusionFull Steamworks IntegrationWorkshop mod manager MultiplayerAchievementsTrading CardsLeagues / Badges / EventsCloud savesExtended FeaturesTwitch Integration Treaty ModeEnhanced Observer mode 7aa9394dea Title: Age of Mythology: Extended EditionGenre: Simulation, StrategyDeveloper:SkyBox Labs, Ensemble StudiosPublisher:Xbox Game StudiosRelease Date: 8 May, 2014 Age Of Mythology: Extended Edition Download For Pc [Ativador] If every game made after Age of Mythology was a strategy game, Age of Mythology would still be the best strategy game of all time. Screw c&c, screw Warcraft. AOM taught me about the mythological gods long before God of War and Marvel films did (if only Marvel knew how OP Loki really is). The only shame is AOM2 isnt a thing, Why the hell isnt there a sequel to this?. Absolute classic, gameplay holds up to today's standards . Still hoping for a full HD remaster though.. I think that Age of Mythology is almost what Age of Empires 3 was attempting to be. While Age of Empires 3 attempted to innovate and bring new mechanics to the table Age of Mythology had already succeeded in doing so. Although the graphical prowess of Age of Empires 3 certainly cannot be beaten, especially by a title that pre-dates it, I find that in many ways Age of Mythology is much better. It utilises every tool it has to create an engaging and interesting experience with it's entertaining campaign and it's wildly varying civilisations. Although Age of Mythology is likely to age the worst out of all the titles due to it's limited animations and graphical fidelity, I would still say it is one of the best titles in the franchise.. Very shady business practices having random games start up with factions not in the game to try to force the player to buy DLC. Going to disappear this one down the memory hole.. I played the original version of this growing up as a kid, I'd like to credit this for my (hopefully) accurate knowledge regarding ancient history. I literally studied History in school because of this game. Now I am biased in my review here, I also have played the AOE games and I do love them, but not as much as this, The mythology is the part which sells it for me. If you liked AOE and you also like dragons or minotaurs whatever, you want an army of said monsters? Then this is the game for you. I had spent countless hours on this as a kid and I can still replay and enjoy the campaigns. As for the DLC which was released recently, I haven't got it. The reviews don't seem great and the content I have seen looks 100% recycled which is a massive let down for me. The main game itself is brilliant.7\/10. Voulomai [i want]:D
